A commemorative booklet was be launched at the event which has been researched by a small working group of current Trustees. The booklet highlights key events and achievements of the organisation over the last 100 years. A re-print of the original 1904 Annual Report was also be distributed.

 Lynne Sneap, Chief Officer said

“ I am really pleased so many past Trustees, Staff and Volunteers were able to join us at this special event. It is an opportunity for Carlisle CVS to not only highlight its own acheivements but also to thank some of the people who were instrumental in their success. The booklet really demonstrates the tremendous impact of voluntary activity in Carlisle in the last 100 years”.
